To assess emissions during the arrival of crude tankers, Grid Environment Ltd. conducted a comprehensive fugitive emissions survey at Westridge marine terminal for Trans Mountain. During the survey, we used TVA2020 to identify leaks and a Hi-Flow Sampler to quantify leak and vent rates.
Due to the nature of the survey, we used our exclusive App, TVA2020 Data Logger, for the TVA2020 so that we could inventory components on the go and develop the component database on-site. Typically, TVAs are pre-programmed with a component database based on previously reviewed P&IDs. The nature of this survey forced us to find a unique solution to on-site database development and management. The TVA2020 Data Logger is an Android app developed by Grid Environment to efficiently log and manage TVA2020 data.
